We are pleased to announce that choirs are now being accepted to our 2015 festival designed to honor veterans, the National Memorial Day Choral Festival, taking place May 22-25, 2015 in Washington, DC. The event culminates in two outstanding performances – the first, on Sunday, May 24, is a matinee concert at the Kennedy Center; and, the second, as part of the Opening Ceremonies for the National Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25.
We are also pleased to announce that Dr. Craig Jessop will continue to serve as Artistic Director for the event. Among many important positions in the choral world, Dr. Jessop’s impressive resume includes service as director of the U.S. Air Force Singing Sergeants in Washington, DC, as commander and conductor of the Band of the U.S. Air Forces in Europe at Ramstein, Germany, and as commander and conductor of the Air Combat Command Heartland of America Band.
