The 6th Annual Festival Corale Internazionale di Roma June 21 – 25 was “the best one ever” according to Dr. Z Randall Stroope, Artistic Director. Dr. Stroope has conducted this festival now for five years. Festival repertoire included works from Leisring, Vierne, Telemann, Hovland, Moore, Barnum, Stroope, Mealor and Gibbs. Doolittle Raid Co-Pilot Named Grand Marshal of 2014 National Memorial Day Parade in D.C.

Today the American Veterans Center (AVC) announced that a co-pilot of the daring Doolittle Tokyo Raid from World War II, Lt. Col. Richard E. Cole, will be this year’s Grand Marshal of the National Memorial Day Parade. Lt. Col. Cole is 98 years old. Continue reading
