On Saturday, people across the globe will join together to honor World Malaria Day. The goal is to raise awareness about a disease that puts half the world’s population at risk and kills half a million children each year. Monumental efforts are underway to eradicate malaria, and in the last 15 years an estimated 4.2 million live were saved due to increased interventions.

10th Annual National Memorial Day Parade to Feature Celebrities and Veterans from Every Conflict

The American Veterans Center (AVC), which represents all who’ve served our country, announced the participants for the 10th Annual National Memorial Day Parade, to be held along Constitution Avenue in Washington, D.C. on May 26th beginning at 2:00pm. The list of celebrities joining to honor our nation’s military this year include actor Gary Sinise, veteran and Dancing With the Stars winner, J.R.
